Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Course Craft (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application Course Craft (the “App”). The App is operated by an individual developer based in the Republic of Belarus.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Age Requirement
The App is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
3. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the App, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: email address and authentication credentials when you register with email and password.
- Sign-in information: if you use Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In, we receive information from those providers (such as email address, display name, and profile photo URL) as permitted by your account settings.
- Profile information: display name and profile photo you choose to upload.
- Learning data: courses you create or complete, progress, XP, quests, loot inventory/cosmetics, preferences, and related learning activity stored in our database.
- AI-related content: prompts you submit to generate courses and answers you provide to practice exercises, which are sent to our AI service provider to generate educational content and feedback.
- Leaderboard data: display name, profile photo URL, XP, and league participation when you use competitive features.
- Purchase information: records of in-app purchases (such as Sparkle packs and subscriptions), including product identifiers and purchase tokens, processed through Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
- Push notification data: device push tokens and platform type (iOS/Android) if you enable notifications.
- App settings: language/locale preferences and notification settings stored on your device or in our database.
- Technical data: information necessary to operate the App, including Firebase authentication identifiers and server logs generated by our infrastructure providers.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- create and manage your account;
- provide personalized AI-generated courses and learning features;
- track your progress, XP, quests, and leaderboard standing;
- process and validate in-app purchases and entitlements;
- send push notifications you have opted into (e.g., daily quests and reminders);
- maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the App;
- respond to your support requests and legal inquiries.
We do not use third-party advertising networks and do not sell your personal information.
5. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate the App. These providers process data on our behalf and under their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging) — Firebase Privacy
- Google Sign-In — Google Privacy Policy
- Apple Sign-In (if available on your device) — Apple Privacy Policy
- OpenRouter — AI course generation and practice feedback — OpenRouter Privacy
- Stock photo providers (e.g. Unsplash / Pexels) — may be used to fetch course cover images based on topics you request
- Google Play Billing (Android purchases) — Google Privacy Policy
- Apple App Store (iOS purchases, if applicable) — Apple Privacy Policy
When you use AI features, the text you submit (such as course topics and practice answers) is transmitted to OpenRouter and its underlying model providers to generate responses. Do not submit sensitive personal information in prompts.
6. In-App Purchases
The App offers optional paid features, including consumable “Sparkles” and subscriptions. Payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive confirmation of purchases and related identifiers to grant access to paid features. All payment disputes and refunds are subject to the store’s terms and refund policies.
7. Data Storage and Retention
Your data is stored using Google Firebase infrastructure, which may process and store data in data centers located outside your country, including the United States and the European Union.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.
8. International Data Transfers
If you access the App from outside Belarus, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to such transfers where permitted by applicable law.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request deletion of your account and personal data;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

10. Account Deletion
You can delete your account in the App under Settings → Delete account. You may also request deletion by emailing pgriskevic75@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account.
Deleting your account will remove or anonymize your profile, learning progress, entitlements, and related data stored in our systems, subject to legal retention requirements and backup cycles.
11. Security
We use industry-standard measures provided by Firebase and secure communication (HTTPS) to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
